MacDowell Communications is operated by Kathleen MacDowell. I specialize in information management and content design, including writing, editing, and proofing technical materials of all types.My expertise in content design is based on over 15 years writing and a background in cognitive psychology. I excel at creating user documents that are complete and precise but easy to understand and use, so the reader can readily locate the right information.
I stay abreast of software changes and current writing practices through membership in the Society for Technical Communication (STC). Among its many benefits, STC offers a worldwide network of colleagues with knowledge about technical issues.
